Pokerchips.in: A Founder's Log - Shipping, Sales, and Strategy

Today is the 11th... I've made a few adjustments to shipping and finally implemented free shipping on orders over ₹1000. In the past two days, I haven't been able to dedicate as much time to pokerchips.in as I had promised myself. My CA sent me GST return errors, and I spent more than five hours resolving them.

Regarding Amazon, I had hoped for increased orders between the 11th and 20th, but things have gone in the opposite direction. In the last two days, only 12 orders came in, which is less than the 8th and 9th. I suspect Amazon doesn't provide visibility unless we run sponsored ads. This feels unfair, a kind of "dadagiri" where they seem to be forcing sellers into advertising.

Apologies, I'm digressing. Let me refocus on my poker chip business.

A new development is that my new venture is also coming to the attention of friends and relatives, likely after I shared a poker video on my WhatsApp status.

To be very frank, some family members don't approve of this business. They view it as gambling-related, which in our Marwari community is referred to as "Juari ka Dhanda." I believe I can convince them, as if I don't pursue it, someone else will. Anyway, it's a family matter ("ghar ka mamla hai").

I have allocated time to focus on poker chips, and starting Monday, I will begin boosting the business on Instagram.
