Behind the Scenes at Pokerchips.in: Fixing Bugs, Shipping Debates, and a Little Bit of Luck

The website is live, but the work is far from over! Right now, I'm deep in the trenches, working behind the scenes on pokerchips.in. I'm still glued to the website, trying to fix the last few bugs and errors to make your experience as smooth as possible.

It's taking a lot more time than I expected, mainly because for every little issue, I need to learn the solution from scratch on the internet. It's a challenging process! Sometimes I succeed after hours of trying, and sometimes, funnily enough, a complete fluke works! It feels a lot like that old saying – andhere mein teer chalana (shooting an arrow in the dark). Those small, lucky victories feel amazing.

One of the big things on my mind right now is our shipping policy. I have set it to free shipping on all orders above ₹2000. However, I am seriously thinking of lowering this to ₹1000 for a few days as a special launch offer. The only challenge is that I will lose money if I keep my item prices the same. I need to look at the numbers carefully. I'll be talking to 2-3 friends to take their advice on this before I make a final decision. Let's see what we can do!

After all the long hours and bug-fixing, I must admit there is a feeling of satisfaction. After all, kyon ki apna hath ka kaam toh sabko hi achha lagta hai (everyone loves their own handiwork), and I am definitely feeling that pride.

I know the website isn't perfect, but I am okay with it as long as it is functionally solid. My belief has always been to keep things simple and effective. I do not want a crowded or flashy design because I believe that ultimately, it is the quality of the content, fair pricing, and customer-friendly policies that truly matter and earn your trust.

Thanks for following this journey. We're working hard to make it better every day!
